Mr. Issel studied finance with a concentration on statistics at the Technical University of Berlin and received a Masters degree. He is a CFA charter holder since 2001.
Hartmut Issel gained initial work experience at Deutsche Bank in Berlin, Union Bank of Switzerland in Zurich and Price Waterhouse in New York, before joining UBS in 1998, working in Basel, London and Zurich. He started his career at UBS as a buy side analyst for Germany (including responsibility for the country equity portfolio) and Scandinavian countries and later assumed coverage of the IT and telecom sectors. From 1999 to 2005 he has been in charge of the global IT sector. In 2005-2006, Mr. Issel was sent to New York to build up and lead the North American research unit of WMR in the United States at WM International, focusing on stock markets but also holding general financial market outlook presentations for clients. Starting 2007 he founded and was heading WMR India at the India Service Centre in Hyderabad (India), a team of research associates. In July 2009 he joined in Singapore as WMR head for the location and deputy head of APAC, also covering India and Indonesia. In addition he holds presentations on Asia-wide and global topics for investors in one to ones, at events as well as conferences. Hartmut is currently the APAC Head Equity at the Chief Investment Office WM.

Jean-Louis Nakamura is the Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong and Chief Investment Officer, Asia Pacific for Lombard Odier group. Jean-Louis joined Lombard Odier in March 2008 to head the executive board of the Paris office. In late 2008, he was transferred to Lombard Odier’s head office in Geneva to become Head of the Quantitative & Overlay Management Team. He was appointed Deputy Global CIO of LOIM in June 2012; CIO, Asia Pacific in January 2014; and CEO, Hong Kong in July 2017.
Prior to joining Lombard Odier, Jean-Louis was CEO of the French Civil Service Pension Fund (ERAFP), having spent five years as CIO of the French Pensions Reserve Fund (FRR), where he was in charge of strategy, tactical allocation and the selection of managers for a portfolio valued at EUR34 billion. Previously, he was Head of International Forecasting and Macro Analysis at the Ministry of Economy & Finance, France from 2001-2003. He also served as a financial expert covering euro-related issues and the banking and insurance sectors for the European Council from 1999-2001. Jean-Louis began his career in 1995 as an economist, specialising in macroeconomics and the banking industry at the French Ministry of Finance. Jean-Louis graduated from France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration in 1995 and from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in 1991.

John Woods is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Chief Investment Officer Asia Pacific, responsible for developing regional discretionary and advisory investment strategies across asset classes and within asset classes for private and institutional clients in Asia Pacific. Mr. Woods is a member of the Investment Committee of Credit Suisse and Chair of the Regional Investment Committee in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Credit Suisse in September 2015, Mr. Woods was Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Asia Pacific for Citi Investment Management. Before that, he served as the Chief Investment Strategist for Asia Pacific at Citi Private Bank and was a voting member of the Global Investment Committee. Mr. Woods brings 25 years' investment management experience in Asia fixed income and currency markets, with special focus on portfolio management, trading and research. Among his previous roles, he was HSBC’s UK-based Head of Absolute Return Proprietary Trading and Global Head of Credit Research and Strategy. John obtained his M.A. in Asia Pacific Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London.
