The Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

The Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (SCCHK) represents the Swiss business community to both the Swiss and HKSAR governments. Through regular meetings and luncheons, members can meet and discuss their common interests in HKSAR. The SCCHK also informs members of new government initiatives that might have relevance for them and acts as a lobbying vehicle to promote their interests to the Government.

The SCCHK is a member of the respected International Business Committee (IBC), which meets the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR quarterly to discuss business interests. Working in cooperation with the IBC as well as with other business chambers and organizations like the Trade Development Council, the SCCHK hosts luncheons in which members can listen to top speakers like the Chief Executive of HKSAR, the major policy secretaries like the Chief and Financial Secretaries, and local business of HKSAR.

The SCCHK has quarterly joint publication, the Bridge, with SwissCham Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. All members receive this magazine as part of their membership fee. In addition to sending the copy by mail, the SCCHK also posts it on its Website. The Website also serves as an interactive platform that gives members information about coming events and permit them to ask questions of and share experiences with other members. Members can use the Website and the joint publication to advertise their companies and services in order to generate new business. The Website also contains links to other internet sites, giving members a quick and convenient way to have access to useful information that is particularly relevant to the Swiss community.

The Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong is pleased to invite you to the "THE QUEST: 270 YEARS OF SEEKING EXCELLENCE" presented by VACHERON CONSTANTIN and immersive exhibition paying tribute to the MAISON'S HAUTE HORLOGERIE HERITAGE in

Hong Kong โ€“ 12 to 15 June, 2025.

To mark its 270th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin presents "The Quest: 270 years of seeking excellence", an immersive exhibition retracing its 270-year quest for watchmaking excellence. An experiential journey celebrating the core values that have defined Vacheron Constantin's identity since 1755, this immersive exhibition invites visitors to experience the Maison's past, present and future. Designed to travel around the globe throughout 2025, "The Quest" inaugurated its world tour in Abu Dhabi in February 2025, and in Tokyo end of April 2025.

Taking place at the Duplex Studio, Tai Kwun, located in Central, "The Quest: 270 years of seeking excellence" exhibition invites watchmaking connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike to discover the Maison's 270 years of horological milestones that have redrawn the frontiers of High Watchmaking, and witness an uninterrupted watchmaking legacy that has been in a constant quest for technical ingenuity and mechanical brilliance with passion, artistic vision and fine craftsmanship.

Vacheron Constantin's legacy begins with Jean-Marc Vacheron, at 24, signing a contract with his first apprentice in 1755, marking the birth of the Maison from which he initiated the quest for watchmaking excellence. Driven by passion, expertise and perseverance, this quest defines the Maison to this day. In High Watchmaking, excellence is not only a mission, but a perfectly clear objective, the road to which is marked by challenges in every area: mechanical ingenuity, technical innovation and artistic creativity. Since its creation, Vacheron Constantin has held a special place among the watch Maisons that emerged in Switzerland during the Age of Enlightenment.

For Vacheron Constantin, the true value of a timepiece lies not only in the science underlying its mechanics but also in its aesthetic beauty, craftsmanship and the meticulousness of its finishing, both visible and invisible.

"The Quest: 270 years of seeking excellence" exhibition is opened to the public from 14 to 15 June, where visitors have the chance to immerse in Vacheron Constantin's artistry and mastery in the craft of High Watchmaking through time, and fully experience the Maison's motto since 1819: "Do better if possible, and that is always possible".
