General Manager at Mission For Migrant WorkersCynthia Ca Abdon-Tellez is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Social Work at the Philippine University in Manila. She begun her early career as a social worker organizing and coordinating workshops for young people in Protestant Churches in different regional centres in the Philippines. She later worked as Executive Assistant at the Department of Local Government and Community Development for three years before she was commissioned to survey on the well-being of Filipino Migrant Workers in Hong Kong in the 1980s by the Secretary General of the National Council of Churches in the Philippines. This later led to the establishment of Mission for Filipino Migrant Workers in 1981. Ms. Abdon-Tellez has been living in Hong Kong for over 41 years and is now the General Manager of Mission For Migrant Workers.
